The professional services group behind the networks other people can't finish.
We're the engineers Mitel dealers, integrators, and IT teams bring in when a data or voice engagement is past the point of guessing — firewalls, switching, unified communications, and the AI layer now sitting on top of all three.
We're brought in, not signed up.
Kruiser Services is a professional services group, not a solo practice. Every engagement draws on specialists matched to what the work actually requires — network architecture, security, unified communications, or the AI tooling now layered over voice and data. Nobody on an engagement is learning the platform on the client's clock.
We work the way we expect to be checked: nothing gets called done because it looks done. Every build is verified against what it's supposed to do, documented the way the next engineer — ours or the client's — will actually need it.
Data and VoIP design, engineering, project management, and training.
These aren't separate offerings. Most engagements need two or three services or disciplines at once.
Firewalls & security
Design, migration, and hardening across enterprise platforms including Palo Alto — segmentation, policy, and inter-VLAN routing that holds up under audit, not just under a demo.
Switching & routing
Core and edge network builds engineered for the traffic actually running on them, from a single site to a multi-location rollout.
Unified communications
Complex Mitel and cloud UC deployments — migrations, upgrades, and geo-dispersed builds where downtime isn't an option.
AI integrations
Applying AI where it earns its place inside a voice or data network — call handling, monitoring, and the operational tooling around both.
Structured cabling & low-voltage.
Full-stack means the wire in the wall, not just the config on the switch. Kruiser Services holds a Florida DBPR Specialty Electrical Contractor license — Limited Energy Systems Specialist, ES12000078 — so the physical layer underneath every network we design gets built and documented by the same team, not handed off to a sub nobody vetted.
Structured cabling
Cat6/6A and fiber runs, terminated and tested to spec, documented for the next engineer.
Security & CCTV
Camera and access-control cabling and system integration.
Alarm systems
Licensed low-voltage alarm system installation.
Sound & intercom
Paging, intercom, and sound system wiring and integration.
Cloud services.
Infrastructure and communications sourced and managed as an ongoing service, layered on top of a network that's already built right.
Infrastructure as a Service
Compute, storage, and network capacity, managed rather than just deployed.
Monitoring
Someone watching the network after the work is done, so issues get caught early.
Ongoing support
A working relationship after go-live, not a one-time install and goodbye.
A technology decision-maker, without adding headcount.
Most organizations that need this level of judgment on data, voice, and cloud decisions can't justify a full-time executive hire for it. We step into that seat on an engagement or retainer basis — planning the roadmap, vetting the vendors, and owning delivery so the decisions get made by someone who's actually built the thing before.
- Architecture and technology roadmap planning
- Vendor vetting and contract review
- Technology budget oversight
- Project and delivery oversight end to end
- A second set of eyes at the executive table, on call
Engineering teams learn faster from someone who's already broken it.
Most of what goes wrong on a complex network engagement has already gone wrong somewhere else first. We train and mentor engineering teams directly on that history, so the knowledge doesn't leave when the engagement ends.
This training runs on the same methodology behind JustAskKruger.ai — 48 years of engineering judgment distilled into The Krugerisms™.
- Structured troubleshooting methodology, not tribal knowledge
- Hands-on mentoring alongside live engagements
- Documentation built for handoff, not just for the file cabinet
- Built for teams standing up Mitel, UC, or complex network platforms for the first time
48 years of work that had to be right the first time.
From Air Force switch cutovers to AWS-hosted voice platforms, a short walk through the work behind Kruiser Services. Client names stay private; the engineering doesn't.
-
Where it started
U.S. Air ForceMilitary telecommunications
- Updated plant-in-place records and wrote the step-by-step migration plan for a base-wide cutover from an electromechanical switch to a Northern Telecom DMS-100.
- Maintained a Bell System Dimension PBX.
- Found an uncommissioned DEW Line early-warning circuit sitting in a closet in the base central office. It tied every Distant Early Warning site across the Arctic to Cheyenne Mountain by satellite through Sunnyvale, California, and it was costing hundreds of thousands of dollars. Pulled the blueprints, found the fault, ran the testing with Cheyenne Mountain, and brought it online with positive verification.
- Inherited 135 open trouble tickets, some years old, and got the queue to fewer than 10 at any time; took a 90-day work-order backlog down to a 10-day turnaround.
- Where the systematic troubleshooting discipline behind every Kruiser engagement was built.

1982 onward
The Mitel lineageEvery generation of the platform
- Hands-on with Mitel since 1982: SX-5, SX-10, SX-20, SX-50, SX-100, SX-200 on every load, SX-2000, through today's MiVoice Business, MiCollab, and MiVoice CX. Over 300 Mitel certifications.
- Built contact center solutions on the platform before it carried the Mitel name: Taske, then PrairieFyre, then MiCCB, now MiVoice CX.
- Migrated a national insurance carrier from a legacy SX-2000 to a modern Mitel platform, with a 15-year expansion plan.
-
Integrator &
founder yearsVoice, data, and the wire in the wall
- Built a national voice and data network for a specialty healthcare provider on an AT&T Layer 2 backbone with Adtran and Mitel; after its acquisition by a Fortune 500 healthcare company, retained to migrate the entire network to Cisco alongside the acquirer's teams.
- Multiple structured cabling projects for a Florida tribal nation, covering government and administrative buildings across three reservations.
- Unify OpenScape Voice deployment for a Florida public water utility.
- Founded and ran companies delivering voice, data, sound, camera, and Wi-Fi under one roof, the full-stack model Kruiser Services runs on today.
- Built Mitel managed-services platforms four times: twice for integrators, once for the founder's own company, and once in Azure.
-
Enterprise
cloud eraComplex Mitel at scale
- 3,000-user municipal MiVoice Business migration to AWS, with a geo-dispersed NG911 design, scripted bulk MiCollab migrations, call recording rebuild, contact center cutover, and license remediation across eleven systems.
- Forced migration of four organizations (banking, behavioral health, automotive, medical) to Azure IaaS when the manufacturer decommissioned its hosting platform.
- Six-property casino resort cleanup and expansion, including property-management integration through TigerTMS.
- Two-site casino migration from MXe III hardware to virtualized MiVoice Business 10.x, staged through 9.x to protect the database.
- 39-system license audit and onboarding for a multi-site health system.
- Project manager on a stalled contact center upgrade for an electric cooperative, working alongside Mitel Professional Services to completion.
- MiVoice Business to Genesys Cloud SIP integration for a multi-site medical imaging provider.
- MiCollab single sign-on through Azure and Keycloak (SAML2) for public-sector customers.

Today
Kruiser ServicesFull-stack, zero trust, still going
- Founded in 2020 as a licensed cabling entity; now a full-stack professional services firm covering network, voice, security, cloud, and AI together.
- Full-stack build for a multi-location automotive dealership group: redundant fiber and firewalls, servers moved to the cloud, and a Mitel migration to a hosted subscription platform.
- Zero trust verification and escalation engineering for Mitel dealers, integrators, and IT teams who need it done right.
Projects and escalations too many to list, across a career that has spanned over 48 years and is still going.
